May Newsletter

May is a busy month for our preschoolers. The first week of May we will be learning about reptiles with a hands-on experience provided by Ruel’s Reptiles. As a thank you to Lauren and Joe for providing our students with this opportunity, we are collecting paper towels and glazed ceramic saucers anywhere from 12in-20in. If you have any laying around your garden shed that you would like to donate, please set them on the Sunday School desk or in my office. We will be gifting these items to Ruel’s Reps on May 5th.

We are also excited to announce that we are able to host an in-person graduation celebration for our four year old classroom! Parents will have to RSVP, social distance, and follow our church’s guidelines with COVID policies, but I am so happy that we can be in person and the students can sing for their families.

As many of you know, we will begin our playground project this summer after VBS sometime. We will be looking for a crew of helpers to load/unload mulch, remove bushes, install new equipment, and build a toy shed. If you are willing to help us out, please email or text me to let me know so I can add you on our list. Once we have a date(s) set, I will let everyone know.

Thank you again for all your support this past year. We have had to be flexible, patient, and constantly adapting to the new guidelines to keep our students, staff, and families safe throughout this pandemic, and we have appreciated everyone’s support.

Have a great summer!

Many Blessings,
Mrs. Kruse
